The Australian Government’s Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) requires Australian Government agencies to ensure that only accredited builders carry out building work which fall within the scheme threshholds.
Achieving Accreditation
Achieving accreditation is a two stage assessment process comprising of a desktop assessment by OFSC staff and onsite auditing by a Federal Safety Officer.
Appealing a Decision
In some circumstances, you may appeal a decision of the Federal Safety Commissioner.
