How is an audit arranged?
A staff member from the OFSC initially makes contact with the company to request details of several current projects in order to identify a suitable site for audit.

Once the site is selected, the OFSC liaises with both the company and Federal Safety Officer (FSO) to arrange the audit on a date that is suitable for both parties. Once the audit date and location is confirmed, the OFSC sends written notification of the audit to both the company and the FSO. The FSO then makes contact with the company prior to the audit to confirm the start time and site access details.
