RFT PRN 23926 - Standing offer panel for OHS auditing services for the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme.
The Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced OHS auditors to join its panel for OHS auditing services for the Scheme. Companies and individuals are encouraged to apply.

OHS auditors will be engaged as consultants to the Department, and appointed as Federal Safety Officers (FSOs) for an initial period of two years. An option to extend this period may be offered.

The OFSC does not guarantee a particular level of business to successful tenderers.

RFT 2007/42 - Standing offer panel for OHS auditing services for the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme.

The Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced OHS auditors to join its panel for OHS auditing services for the Scheme. Companies and individuals are encouraged to apply.

OHS auditors will be engaged as consultants to the Federal Safety Commissioner, and appointed as Federal Safety Officers (FSOs) for a period until 19 December 2009. An option to extend this period may be offered.

FSOs provide on-site OHS auditing of applicants to the Scheme against the Scheme criteria.

The OFSC does not guarantee a particular level of business to successful tenderers.

RFT DEWR 2006/21 - Federal Safety Officers - standing offer panel for auditing services for the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme.

The Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner is seeking to increase membership of the current panel of suitably qualified and experienced OHS auditors to undertake on-site auditing of the requirements of the Australian Government Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme.

RFT 2006/26 - Request for Tender for the provision of consultancy services to develop and deliver research into design issues impacting on safe construction.

In order to improve OHS outcomes through the implementation and integration of safe design principles, the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner and the Australian Safety and Compensation Council are collaborating to invite Tenders from suitably experienced, skilled and qualified organisations or consultants to develop and deliver a research paper exploring:

  • the level of awareness of safe design in the Australian building and construction industry;
  • options for successfully promoting safe design to relevant parts of the industry; and
  • the usefulness of a safe design tool to be applied by small, medium and large size enterprises as part of the construction process.
