Federal Safety Commissioner attends National Business Leadership Awards

A pair of Scheme accredited construction companies have been recognised at Master Builders Australia’s National Business Leadership Awards. Acting Federal Safety Commissioner Tim Johnson attended the Gala Awards Dinner on Thursday 22 August, presenting two awards sponsored by the OFSC.
 

Complex Co. Pty Ltd was awarded the National Business Leadership Award for Small Civil Construction Business. First accredited in 2015, Complex Co is a civil construction and management company based in the ACT, specialising in bridges, roads, and associated works. Director Matt Haskins credits the challenge of meeting the OFSC’s Scheme accreditation requirements with triggering the growth in structure, innovation and safety of the company.

The National Business Leadership Award for Medium Civil Construction Business was won by Guideline (ACT) Pty Limited. The Canberra based civil engineering contractor has been working with the OFSC through their Scheme accreditation since 2013. Guideline (ACT) undertake all areas of civil engineering construction, specialising in technically challenging bridgeworks, roadworks, dam construction and sewerage infrastructure.
