FSC Online Now Live

Please see our ‘Introduction to FSC Online’ video for a brief system tutorial.

Contractors undertaking Commonwealth funded building and construction work are now able to use the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner’s (OFSC) innovative FSC Online system to apply for, and manage their Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) accreditation.

The OFSC undertook a comprehensive review of the Scheme in 2014. The aim of the review was to modernise and streamline the Scheme without reducing safety standards. FSC Online achieves this goal by reducing the administrative burden on accredited builders by allowing the online submission of applications for accreditation and reaccreditation, in addition to easy access to key Scheme metrics. FSC Online also includes an inbuilt help system that will guide applicants through the process of first time accreditation or reaccreditation.

Additional functionality is currently being developed and is expected to be available in 2015-16. This will include online submission of all OFSC reports and the ability to plan onsite audits and easy access to audit results.

Contractors already accredited under the Scheme have been pre-registered for FSC Online. If you have not received information regarding your pre-registration, please contact the OFSC via email at ofsc@employment.gov.au or the FSC Assist line on 1800 652 500.
