OFFICE OF THE FEDERAL SAFETY COMMISSIONER NATIONAL ROADSHOW – Melbourne 24 June and Canberra 29 June 2015
Following our 2014 review, the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC) has made significant improvements to the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme.
We will be hosting roadshows in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin to inform both accredited builders and builders interested in becoming accredited of the effect these changes will have.
Each roadshow will feature a keynote presentation by Federal Safety Commissioner, Mr Alan Edwards, a workshop for unaccredited companies, a workshop for accredited companies, and the opportunity for companies to meet with OFSC staff for one-on-one discussions (please note that due to the high level of interest these discussions will only be allocated 15 minutes each).
Following the successful roadshow in Sydney, a Victorian roadshow is being held at the Building Leadership Simulation Centre in Melbourne on Wednesday 24 June and an ACT roadshow is being held at Master Builders ACT in Canberra on Monday 29 June.
The Brisbane roadshows are being held on 16 and 17 June. RSVPs close on Friday 12 June.
The dates for roadshows in other states will be available on this website as they are finalised. Please contact the OFSC on 1800 652 500 if you have any questions.
