OFSC Roadshow Information

The Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner is undertaking a series of Roadshows across Australia, to meet with both accredited and unaccredited builders to discuss the recent changes to the Scheme, the revised audit criteria and guidance, and the accreditation process.

Who Should Attend?

Accredited companies or companies wanting to undertake Commonwealth funded projects or achieve best practice safety.

What do the Roadshows Involve?

The Roadshow consists of a keynote presentation, after which attendees will split into two workshops. Following these, companies that requested to do so on their RSVP can enter into one on one discussions with the OFSC.

Keynote Presentation

Delivered by Federal Safety Commissioner Alan Edwards on the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme and Scheme Review.

Workshop 1: Not Yet Accredited

Should I become accredited? Am I ready? How long does it take? What is the process? FSO and audit process, What are the audit criteria? What support is available? How will FSC Online assist?

Workshop 2: Already Accredited: What’s New?

Changes to audit criteria, OFSC SWMS requirements, Risk-based approach & how it will affect me, Changes to site audits + extensive Q&A.

Individual Discussions

Companies also have the opportunity to schedule individual discussions with the OFSC. Please indicate your interest in your RSVP.
