OFSC encourages attendance at the Queensland Construction Work Health Forum 2016
The Office of Federal Safety Commissioner is proud to support the inaugural Queensland construction work health forum 2016 and encourages interested company’s attendance.
Attendees will hear from industry leaders about the latest research and best practice to manage work health risks in the construction industry. Keynote speaker Mark McCrindle, award-winning social researcher and author, will give the audience insight into the construction industry, what is happening now and how it will impact the future of construction.
There will be a mix of presentations, case studies and workshops covering:
• manual tasks
• mental health
• chronic disease
• sun safety
• silica exposure
• culture and leadership.
Industry leaders will also be showcasing workplace examples and sharing lessons they have learnt.
